The Corporation of Shepherdstown is commencing a search for a new Planning & Zoning Administrator following the resignation of John Andrew 'Andy' Beall, who held the position for seven years. Beall cited issues with the current mayor's management as the reason for his departure, expressing both his love for his coworkers and concerns about projects being stalled in the town. Beall is now the Zoning Administrator for Jefferson County. The town plans to review the responsibilities of the Planning & Zoning Administrator position to enhance its effectiveness.
