New Swing Coming to Shepherdstown's James Rumsey Park
West Virginia’s Almost Heaven Swings likely to gain Shepherdstown addition in new year

The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown is collaborating with the Corporation of Shepherdstown to add a new swing facing the Potomac River at James Rumsey Monument Park, enhancing local tourism attractions. This swing will join the Almost Heaven Swing initiative, following successful installations across the state initiated by the West Virginia Department of Tourism and the Nicholson Vocational & Career School. As the second swing in the Eastern Panhandle, it aims to draw visitors and promote community engagement, aligning with efforts to boost local tourism in the area.
