On January 27, the Corporation of Shepherdstown will welcome Gino Sisco as its new town administrator after a six-month nationwide search. Sisco, a Shepherd University alumnus with extensive experience in public policy and health administration, will oversee the town's daily operations, including management of its finances and staff. He expressed deep personal ties to Shepherdstown, having previously lived and studied there, and views this role as his 'dream job'. Mayor James Gatz praised Sisco's credentials and managerial skills, emphasizing the positive impact he aims to have on the community.
