In February, Driswood Elementary in Shenandoah Junction initiated the creative attendance incentive called 'It’s Silly to Miss School,' allowing students to spray silly string at their teachers for good attendance. This initiative is a part of the school’s ongoing efforts to boost attendance, marked by monthly activities designed to engage students. Principal Kelly Osborne emphasizes the importance of attendance, linking it to student success and community involvement. With upcoming events like March Madness planned, enthusiasm continues to grow among students and staff at this local school.
