Sobriety Checkpoint Set for April 18 in Shepherdstown Area
On April 18, from 6 p.m. to midnight, the West Virginia State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint on Route 51 near Leetown Road and another on Martinsburg Pike near Shepherdstown. This initiative aims to educate drivers about the dangers of impaired driving, whether due to alcohol or drugs. The program, which also addresses other traffic violations, is supported by funding from the Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention, reflecting community efforts to ensure road safety in the area.
