Sons of American Revolution Celebrate History in Martinsburg

The General Adam Stephen Chapter of the Sons of American Revolution held a significant spring meeting in Martinsburg on April 19, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Attended by 58 members and guests, the meeting featured an induction of two new members, an insightful talk by Clarence “Cem” Martin about his ancestor, Private John Gray, who was involved in the Revolutionary War, and discussions of upcoming events, including a June 14 celebration of the Bee Line March in Shepherdstown. The gathering highlighted local historical ties and was an invitation for community members interested in history to join the organization.
