South Jefferson Elementary Receives Music Program Grant
Friends of Music gives grant to South Jefferson Elementary School

The Journal reports that Friends of Music has awarded a $230 grant to South Jefferson Elementary School, enhancing its music program. This funding will allow the school to acquire two volumes of part-singing books and four volumes of Orff-method books and CDs, which will benefit students in general music classes and the fourth and fifth grade chorus, as well as third through fifth grade classes. The new materials will also support upcoming performances, bolstering the arts education in the area.
