StoryWalks at Yankauer and Cool Spring Preserves Enhance Literacy
The Journal reports that PVAS is hosting StoryWalks at the Yankauer Nature Preserve in Martinsburg and Cool Spring Preserve in Charles Town. From now until January 5, visitors can enjoy a storybook on a nature walk, featuring Robert Frost's 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening' at Yankauer and 'No Two Alike' by Keith Baker at Cool Spring. This free activity is perfect for all ages, encouraging literacy in an outdoor setting, with signs placed along the trails for gradual reading.
