Shenandoah Junction Elementary Hosts MWAA Officer for Career Month

T.A. Lowery Elementary invites Corporal David King to Career Day

At T.A. Lowery Elementary in Shenandoah Junction, school counselor Nicholas Capriolo organized a Career Month to introduce students to various professions. On a recent Friday, Corporal David King from the MWAA Police Department visited to share insights from his role in the Special Operations Division. He engaged with fifth graders, allowing them to explore his motorcycle and demonstrating the diverse responsibilities of law enforcement beyond ordinary perceptions. This initiative not only provided students with exposure to different career paths but also aimed to build positive relationships with law enforcement.
