Todd Cotgreave, a resident of Shepherdstown, has launched a new magazine titled 'A Wide Place in the Road' to continue the legacy of the region's beloved Good News Paper, which ceased publication due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This colorful magazine will now focus on stories from across Appalachia and the D.C. area, while maintaining a strong connection to local culture and community events in Shepherdstown. The magazine not only pays homage to the Good News Paper with a familiar design element but also emphasizes good people and their stories, making it a valuable addition to local publications. It is available at Four Seasons Books in Shepherdstown and Bushel & Peck in Charles Town.
