Unity Campaign 2025 Launches to Support Local Nonprofits
The United Way of the Eastern Panhandle has commenced its sixth annual Unity Campaign, which aims to raise funds for about 40 local organizations serving residents in Martinsburg and surrounding areas. The 15-day event, running until March 15, allows community members to donate directly to nonprofits, all of which are integral to improving community welfare. Executive Director Penny Porter emphasized the significance of this initiative, which draws inspiration from a similar campaign in Frederick County, Maryland. Donations made during this period will be matched by an incentive fund, enhancing their impact. For more details on participating agencies or to contribute, community members can visit the campaign's website or text to donate.
