At the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, veterans were delighted by the annual visit from children of Fellowship Bible Church in Shenandoah Junction, who delivered homemade valentines to share love and appreciation. Organized by JoEllen Toothman and a dedicated team including Children’s Ministry Director Anna Beddow, this heartwarming initiative highlights the church's long-standing tradition of connecting youth with local heroes during Salute Week, part of a national program honoring veterans. The initiative encourages community involvement, with various organizations participating to enrich the lives of those who served.
