During the graduation ceremony at Shepherd University, over 330 seniors from Washington High School celebrated the Class of 2025, reflecting on their achievements and aspirations. Class President Brenden Owen encouraged his classmates to embrace uncertainty and cherish the journey ahead. Principal Donald Showen and Superintendent Dr. Chuck Bishop emphasized the importance of values and purpose as students transition into new paths—be it college, trade school, or military service. Among the graduates, Zachary Thompson and Devin Lewis shared plans for trade schooling, while Oscar Games hopes to enlist in the Army. The ceremony highlighted not just their educational journey, but also valuable life lessons, making this a memorable event for the community.
