On Earth Day, the Washington High School Key Club visited North Jefferson Elementary to engage students in environmental education through hands-on activities. This initiative, sparked by Principal Priscilla Rodd's interest in community involvement after the club's previous outreach, allowed high schoolers to teach younger students about protecting the planet while also fostering their own aspirations in education and earth science. Activities included making seed bombs, creating art projects, and cleaning up the campus, enhancing connections within the local community in Kearneysville.
