Washington High School’s FFA hosts petting zoo, Drive Your Tractor to School Day

Washington High School’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) hosted a successful petting zoo and Drive Your Tractor to School Day in Charles Town, allowing students to interact with various farm animals and equipment while learning about agriculture. FFA coordinator Katlin Grantham emphasized the importance of agriculture in the local community, as around 12 FFA students showcased their animals, including cows and goats. Students, including tractor owners Tyler Stolipher and Odell Ware, shared their farming experiences, fostering interest in agricultural careers among their peers. The event highlighted the significance of agriculture while providing an interactive educational experience for the school community.
