The Shepherdstown Chronicle reports on the inaugural 'We the People' Parade, held on September 20 in downtown Shepherdstown, featuring 87 Constitution-themed posters. Founded by local resident Mark Kohut and supported by the Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History & Education, this event honors Constitution Day and embodies the spirit of civic engagement. The center’s director, Zach Dougherty, aims to continue Senator Byrd's legacy by preserving these posters and a parade recording to inspire future generations in the community.
