'A Wide Place in the Road': New magazine to highlight stories of Appalachian, everyday man

A former contributor to the now-defunct Good News Paper, Todd Cotgreave, has launched a new magazine titled 'A Wide Place in the Road' aimed at capturing the essence of Appalachian life while expanding to include stories from the District of Columbia. This colorful bi-monthly publication, featuring a mix of human interest stories, event information, and multimedia elements, pays homage to its predecessor by maintaining its local roots and will offer insights into the lives of neighbors and community events in Shepherdstown and surrounding areas. The first issue is now available at local bookstores and online.
