West Virginia is experiencing its best winter sports conditions in over a decade, with January snowfall enhancing activities like skiing and tubing. While some regions see warmer temperatures, the mountains—especially near Charles Town and Harpers Ferry—are receiving additional snow, promising excellent conditions for outdoor enthusiasts.
