The Shepherdstown Chronicle reports on a $26,750 grant from Women Investing in Shepherd (WISH) that is facilitating the restoration and reopening of the historic Little House, which has been closed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following major renovations, including lead abatement and a new roof, the Little House, built in the late 1920s by Shepherd University students, will soon delight families once again. The project has also benefited from local support, including donations for the Little Barn's repainting from residents Eric and Joy Lewis. Community engagement and support are pivotal to reviving this beloved space for children and educational activities in Shepherdstown.
