Maggie Gise, a physical therapist, founded Gaia Women's Physical Therapy and Wellness in 2019 after experiencing barriers in women's health care due to a lack of resources, specifically related to pelvic health. Inspired to help women, especially pregnant and postpartum individuals, Gise's clinic is now the only pelvic health specialty clinic in the Eastern Panhandle. Her dedication to holistic and individualized care has allowed her to expand her services and establish a welcoming space for women in Martinsburg and surrounding towns like Charles Town and Ranson, as highlighted in The Journal.
